CST To Air Razorback Baseball Preview Show Tonight
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Cox Sports Television (CST) will air a 30-minute preview show for the upcoming 2017 Arkansas baseball season tonight at 7 p.m. The special will include an interview with head coach Dave Van Horn, as well as a detailed look at the roster and this season’s schedule.
The show is hosted by Alex Perlman and he will be joined by former Razorback All-American Troy Eklund, who will provide his analysis of this year’s team.
Arkansas is just one week away from beginning its full team practices and four weeks from its season opener against Miami (Ohio) on Feb. 17. The Razorbacks return nearly their entire pitching staff under the guidance of new pitching coach Wes Johnson and two of their top hitters in Luke Bonfield and Carson Shaddy.
2017 will mark the 15th season for Razorback baseball under the guidance of head coach Dave Van Horn. Van Horn has led the Hogs to four trips to the College World Series and has averaged 40 or more wins per season since becoming the Arkansas skipper.
The Razorbacks will begin their season against Miami (Ohio) with a three-game series on Feb. 17.
