Free Student Tickets Available For Texas Game
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – University of Arkansas students will have the opportunity to receive a free ticket to the Lone Star Shootout in Houston on Saturday, Dec. 17, when the Razorbacks battle the Texas Longhorns at the Toyota Center.
Thanks to the company 811, students interested in watching the Razorbacks face the Longhorns in Houston can go to the Toyota Center box office, show their student ID and receive a free ticket.
“As the presenting sponsor of the Lone Star Shootout, 811 is thrilled to be able to offer students from each participating school – Texas A&M, University of Arkansas, University of Arizona and University of Texas – free tickets to the doubleheader basketball game in Houston this Saturday,” said Shell Pipeline Company facilities manager Geoffrey Gauthier. “The 811 team takes enormous pride in supporting our community. We hope that events like the Lone Star Shootout will continue spreading awareness of 811 and the importance of calling before you dig.”
The Arkansas and Texas are scheduled to tip-off at 1:30 p.m., following the match-up with Arizona and Texas A&M, which tips at 11 a.m. Student tickets will be valid for both games of the doubleheader
