Hogs Close Out Day One With Multiple Personal Best
Fayetteville, Ark. – The Arkansas Swimming and Diving opened up the day with four personal best in swimming preliminaries. In addition, the Razorbacks had five NCAA B-Cut times posted on opening day for the Tennessee Invite. Claire Rumzie, Ella Pearl, Andrea Sansores, and Bella Cothern all had personal best in their respected events. Not to mention, Kobie Melton, Adela Vavrinova, Bella Cothern, Andrea Sansores, and Emily Barclay all finished with NCAA B-Cut times in their events as well. The Razorbacks also put up the third fast 200 Freestyle Relay time in school history with a 1:28.50.

Competing against 3 top 10 teams and the defending NCAA Champions our young team learned a lot about even higher-level competition, Coach Haper Said.” “Our senior class stepped up again – Kobie, Andrea, Vanessa, and Emily along with Adéla and Bella recorded best times, swam on our A relays and 2 times that beat our school records! Tomorrow brings 6 more individual events and 2 relays for more success and records!”

- Andrea Sansores put up 50 Freestyle time in school history with a 22.51. Then another in the 50 Free Final with a 22.44.
- Razorbacks 200 Freestyle Relay team had the third-fastest time in school history with a 1:28.50
- Ella Pearl had a personal best in 50 Freestyle with a 24.87.
- Bella Cothern had a personal best with a 22.64 in 50 Freestyle. Then another in the 50 Free Final with a 22.43 which is the fifth-fastest time in school history.
- Claire Rumzie had a personal best in 500 Freestyle with a 5:07.41
- Bella Cothern, Adela Vavrinova, Kobie Melton, Emily Barclay, and Andrea Sansores had NCAA B-cut Times
