30 Seasons of Baum-Walker Stadium
The 2025 campaign marks the 30th season in the history of Baum-Walker Stadium, which opened in 1996. Arkansas won its 700th game at Baum-Walker Stadium against Washington State on Feb. 17, 2025, and maintains an all-time record of 706-243 (.744) inside the stadium’s friendly confines entering this Friday’s weekend series opener against Portland.
Following their double midweek series sweep against ULM, Arkansas is a perfect 10-0 at home this season. Since the venue opened, Arkansas has recorded six 30-win seasons inside the friendly confines of Baum-Walker Stadium: 2004 (31 wins), 2018 (program-record 34 wins), 2019 (33 wins), 2021 (30 wins), 2023 (32 wins), 2024 (program-record 34 wins).
Excluding 2020, the Razorbacks have won 28 or more home games in seven consecutive seasons at Baum-Walker Stadium: 2017 (29 wins), 2018 (34 wins), 2019 (33 wins), 2021 (30 wins), 2022 (28 wins), 2023 (32 wins), 2024 (34 wins).
31 and Counting
Since the start of 2015, Arkansas has won 31 consecutive non-conference weekend series inside the friendly confines of Baum-Walker Stadium. The Hogs have not lost or tied a non-conference home weekend series in the regular season since 2014, when they lost two-of-three games to South Alabama in their final non-conference home weekend series.
Arkansas swept Washington State on Opening Weekend to secure its 30th consecutive non-conference home weekend series win before sweeping Charlotte to lock down its 31st consecutive non-conference home weekend series win.
Hot Start
The Hogs are off to a 12-1 start through this year’s first 13 games, their best 13-game start to a season since 2021, and their sixth 12-1 or better start in the Dave Van Horn era. Since Van Horn’s first season as head coach in 2003, Arkansas has started 12-1 or better six times: 2003 (12-1), 2005 (12-1), 2006 (12-1), 2011 (12-1), 2021 (12-1) and 2025 (12-1).
With a sweep this weekend against Portland, Arkansas can improve to 15-1 or better through the first 16 games of the season for the third time in the Van Horn era. The Razorbacks also began 15-1 overall in both 2005 and 2006, getting off to a 17-1 overall start during the 2005 campaign before beginning the 2006 season with a 16-1 overall record.
Kuhio Krush
Through his first 10 games played of the year, Arkansas’ Kuhio Aloy has established himself as one of the most feared hitters in college baseball. The Razorbacks’ primary designated hitter, in his first season at Arkansas after transferring from BYU, is slashing a nation-leading .556/.628/1.194 with a team-leading six home runs and 26 RBI.
Aloy, who leads the Hogs in multi-hit games (7) and multi-RBI game (7) this season, has posted six consecutive games with multiple hits, matching his career high with four hits against Grambling on Feb. 25 and driving in a career-high six runs against ULM on March 4. His 26 total RBI tie for fourth nationally, and his six home runs tie for 17th.
His scorching hot start to the 2025 campaign is arguably the best 10-game start to a season by a Razorback since Aaron Murphree in 2008, who slashed .487/.545/1.359 (19-for-39) with 10 home runs and 24 RBI through the first 10 games.
