Hogs Gain Key Points at NCAA

Atlanta, Ga. – Arkansas Swimming finished strong on day two of NCAA Championship week. The Razorbacks finished 14th in the 200 Freestyle Relay finals. The relay team of Emily Barclay, Kobie Melton, Bella Cothern and Andrea Sansores put a time of 1:27.95, which is now the second-fastest time in school history. The Razorbacks also picked up six points from their 14th place finish with Emily Barclay, Kobie Melton, Bella Cothern and Andrea Sansores all earning NCAA Honorable Mention All-Americans for the effort.

“I’m so excited for these ladies and our team. Arkansas hasn’t had a relay score at NCAA’s in over two decades and these ladies made it a goal last spring and have worked hard together to achieve it. For Emily, Kobie, Bella and Andrea to be NCAA All-Americans is another big step for our program. We are looking forward to our events tomorrow and continued success,” stated Coach Harper
