Hogs Meet Mavericks in Weekend Series at Baum-Walker Stadium
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Razorbacks’ season-long 18-game homestand rolls on this weekend inside the friendly confines of Baum-Walker Stadium when sixth-ranked Arkansas (7-2) hosts non-conference opponent UT Arlington (2-6).

History Lesson
Arkansas is 7-1 all-time against UT Arlington, including a 5-0 mark in the Dave Van Horn era, but the two programs will square off in Fayetteville, Ark., for the first time in history this weekend. The Hogs and Mavs last met for a three-game set in Honolulu, Hawai’i, in 2006. Arkansas swept the series and has won six in a row against UTA entering this weekend.
One-Hit Wizardry
Arkansas has twirled one-hit shutouts in two of its last three games entering the weekend series with UT Arlington.
Colin Fisher fired an eight-inning complete-game one-hit shutout in the series-sweeping win against Xavier (Feb. 22) before James DeCremer, Steele Eaves and Parker Coil combined for a one-hit shutout in the midweek win against Arkansas State (Feb. 25). The last time Arkansas threw two one-hitters in a season was 2024 when Razorback pitchers combined for a one-hit shutout against Missouri (March 16) and did so again against Arkansas State (April 2).
Arkansas accomplished the feat for the first time in the Dave Van Horn era in 2017, recording one-hitters against Memphis (April 17) and Tennessee (May 6).
Good Things Comes in Threes
Arkansas has won 33 consecutive non-conference weekend regular season series inside the friendly confines of Baum-Walker Stadium. The Razorbacks have not lost or tied a non-conference weekend series in the regular season at home since 2014, when Arkansas dropped two-of-three games to South Alabama in its final non-conference weekend series.
The Hogs clinched their 33rd consecutive non-conference weekend regular season series at Baum-Walker Stadium thanks to their home opening weekend series sweep against the Musketeers. Of its 33 straight non-conference weekend regular season series wins, Arkansas has completed three or four-game sweeps of its opponent in 22 of them (66.7%).
