Hogs Sign Six Out of State Players

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Coming off the No. 1 recruiting class in the country, the University of Arkansas baseball team added six out of state players on National Signing Day as head coach Dave Van Horn announced on Wednesday.

While the Razorbacks have done a heavy portion of their recruiting in the state of Arkansas, Van Horn and his staff welcome six players from Texas, Kansas, Missouri and Oklahoma for the 2016 season. The Razorbacks have now signed 14 total players during the signing period.

“We feel very fortunate to be able to go get some great players from the surrounding states,” said Van Horn. “These guys will definitely fill some holes for us and will be a great asset to our program.”

Anthony Dahl (Texas), Eric Cole (Texas), Isaiah Campbell (Kansas), Brendan Stanek (Kansas), Jacob Schlesener (Missouri) and Andrew Bolin (Oklahoma) have all signed National Letters of Intent to play at the University of Arkansas.

A year after producing the top recruiting class in the country according to Perfect Game, Arkansas has once again signed the best talent in the nation with six top 500 recruits.
