Hogs to Close Out Regular Season at Kansas

LAWRENCE, Kan. – The Arkansas swimming and diving team returns to action on the road for the second straight week, this time traveling to Kansas in the team’s final dual meet of the regular season.

Meet action is set to begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday at the Robinson Natatorium. Live results can be found via the Meet Mobile App, along with all scoring updates posted on Twitter and Facebook @RazorbackSD.

The Razorbacks’ latest action was in the Lonestar State facing No. 21 Houston and No. 11 Texas A&M. The Cougars grabbed the victory with a 163.5-136.5 decision on Friday despite a big day in the pool from Peyton Palsha, who took the top spot in the 1000 free and 500 free. On Saturday, Arkansas traveled to College Station to take on SEC foe Texas A&M. After a hard-fought battle, the Aggies came out on top, defeating the Hogs 162-130. Anna Hopkin claimed the 50 free and 100 free, earning a NCAA ‘B’ cut time in the 100 free.

About the Opponent

Kansas is 5-1 this season, owning a win over Nebraska. This will be the 34th time the Razorbacks and Jayhawks have met in the pool with the Hogs winning the last 10 meetings, including defeating the Jayhawks 172-128 last season.
