After a first half of runs by both squads, the Razorbacks manufactured a 15-5 run in the final 4:24 to take a 41-31 lead into the locker room.

The Razorbacks used a 16-4 run later in the half to extend a lead that turned into a 27-point victory.

WHAT COACH ANDERSON HAD TO SAY
“The first half we had a lot of nervous energy and you could see that. The second half we had a lot more energy. The guys coming off the bench came in and got engaged in our defense and I think that is the story of the game, which was our defense.” – head coach Mike Anderson

“When your guards rebound, it really pushes your face break into effect. We were getting a lot of layups in the second half because our guards were digging in there contesting shots and pushing the ball down the floor.” – head coach Mike Anderson
