Jacobus Named To The Bowerman Post-Indoor Watch List
NEW ORLEANS, LA – The Women’s Post-Indoor Watch List for the Bowerman was released by the U.S. Track & Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) on Wednesday, featuring Arkansas’ most recent NCAA Champion, Lexi Jacobus.
The Bowerman Post-Indoor Watch List includes athletes who have posted some of the best performances in collegiate history so far in 2019 during the indoor season, including Arkansas’ Jacobus who notched the second-best all-time performance in the pole vault at the SEC Indoor Championships in Fayetteville. The senior won the SEC Championship after clearing 4.68m (15-4.25) on her first attempt at the height.
A seven-time First-Team All-American, Jacobus is fresh off her fourth-career NCAA Championship in the pole vault helping her Razorback teammates capture the 2019 Indoor Track & Field team title at the Birmingham Crossplex.
