
Jones, Thomas, and Smith head to Chapel Hill for Last Chance
CHAPEL HILL, N.C. – Arkansas swimmers Bradi Jones, Luciana Thomas, and Alaya Smith will have one more shot to qualify for NCAA Championships berths as they compete at this weekend’s Last Chance meet at North Carolina.
Graduate student Luciana Thomas has never missed an NCAA Cut in her collegiate career. Prior to Arkansas, Thomas was a four-time qualifier at the University of Notre Dame in the 200-butterfly. She punched her ticket to NCAAs last year at Ohio State’s Last Chance meet, with a time of 1:55.06.
Meanwhile, juniors Bradi Jones and Alaya Smith look to try and qualify for the NCAA Championships for the first time in each of their collegiate careers. Both are set to compete in the 100-breaststroke in Chapel Hill.
