Maria Jose Sanchez To Compete For SEC Title on 1-Meter
ATHENS, Ga. – Maria Jose Sanchez dove to a 290.95 mark in the 1-meter prelims and will have an opportunity to compete for an SEC title in the event this evening.
Sanchez placed 3rd in the prelim, further adding to her already impressive set of accomplishments this season. So far, Sanchez has won SEC weekly honors twice and has cemented her name in the Arkansas record book in platform diving. In her first SEC Championships, she is set to compete for a title.
