  • #2 Link Academy suffered its first loss on the year, a 74-65 setback to #1 Sunrise (Fla.) Academy on Friday at the Heartland Hoops Classic (Grand Island, Nebraska). Walsh led the Lions with 16 points.
  • Recorded a double-double with 11 points and 11 rebounds as Link defeated #14 Wasatch (Utah) Academy on Saturday.
  • Upcoming: Will be off until March 3-4 when Link plays in the Southeast Invitational V.2 in Charlotte.

  • Led Magnolia to a 57-19 victory over Camden. Scored 15 points with five rebounds and four assists.
  • Magnolia cruised to an 84-27 win over Star City to improve to 21-0.

Mobile, Ala. (McGill Toolen Catholic HS)

  • Posted a double-double with 40 points and 12 rebounds with six assists in leading McGill Toolen to a 110-40 victory over Citronella. With the effort, he eclipsed 1,000 career points.
  • Helped his school improve to 27-4 and win the 6A Area 1 tournament championship with a 68-48 decision over Blount. He scored 25 points with nine rebounds.
  • Upcoming: Feb. 15 hot Robertsdale in the AHSAA 6A state tournament Southeast Regional

Morrilton, Ark. (Morrilton HS)

  • Arkansas Democrat-Gazette Player of the Week, averaging 28.5, 11 rebounds and 3.5 blocks in two league-title clinching road games. Team has won 11 consecutive games.
  • Had an impressive double-double as he scored 21 points (8-of-12 shooting) with 17 rebounds in a 55-53 win over Subiaco Academy. Added three blocked shots and two steals while hitting the game-winning shot. The win led Morrilton to its second straight 4A Region 4 conference title.
  • Finished with 36 points, 6 steals, 5 rebounds and 4 blocks in the Devil Dogs’ 71-66 victory at Clarksville.
