NOTES:

  • This will be the third meeting between Arkansas and Stanford. The Cardinal won the previous two meetings.
  • The first meeting was in the 1947-48 season when the two schools met in the San Francisco Tournament championship on Jan. 3, 1948, in the Cow Palace. Stanford led 34-26 at the half and held on for a 60-53 win despite 17 points from Razorback All-American George Kok.
  • The only other meeting was Nov. 27, 2015 in the third-place game of the NIT Tipoff in Brooklyn, N.Y. The Cardinal came out on top as a layup attempt by Stanford’s Marcus Allen was goaltended with 2.6 seconds left to give Stanford a 1-point lead. There was a subsequent technical on the Razorback bench and Rosco Allen made the two technical free throws for the final margin as Dusty Hannahs 3-pointer at the buzzer was missed. R. Allen finished with 25 points. Moses Kinglsley had a double-double for the Hogs (12 & 12) while Anthon Bell had 17 points and Jimmy Whitt Jr., had 14.
  • Eric Musselman is two wins from 100 as Arkansas head coach.
  • Davonte Davis is 24 points from 1,000 for his Razorback career.
  • Khalif Battle is 63 points from 1,000 for his collegiate career.
