FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas travels to Nashville for its final regular-season road game of the season when the Razorbacks face Vanderbilt on Tuesday (Mar. 4). Tipoff is set for 9 pm (CT) and the game will be televised on SEC Network.

The Razorbacks wrap up the regular season versus Mississippi State on Saturday (Mar. 8) in Bud Walton Arena. Tipoff is set for 11 am (CT).

NOTES:

  • This will be the 56th meeting between Arkansas and Vanderbilt. All but 12 have come since Arkansas joined the SEC.
  • The Razorbacks own a 30-15 advantage in the series, including a 29-14 margin in SEC meetings.
  • Arkansas snapped a three-game Vandy win streak in the series with a 90-85 overtime win over the Commodores in last year’s SEC Tournament opening round. Arkansas has won 8 of the last 11 games.
  • In games played at Vandy, the Commodores own a slight 9-8 advantage. However, in SEC games played in Memorial Gym, the series is tied 8-8
  • In an SEC scheduling quirk, this is just the fourth time Arkansas has played in Memorial Gym over the last 12 meetings. The teams have met in Fayetteville six times over the last 12 and in the SEC Tourney three times.
  • There were a few positives coming out of the South Carolina game. After scoring 14 first-half points, Arkansas scored 39 second-half points and shot 42.9% from the field in the half. Over the final 6:05, Arkansas out-scored South Carolina 22-6 including a 15-2 run with a 13-0 spurt. Arkansas had seven assists on its 12 made baskets in the second half.
  • Over the last three games, Arkansas is 71-of-95 at the line with 37, 31 and 27 attempts, respectively. Over the last 3 games, Arkansas is averaging 31.7 attempts and 23.7 makes. Arkansas season averages are 20.2 attempts and 14.7 makes.
  • Arkansas blocked five shots at South Carolina and has at least five blocked shots 18 times this season, including 13 of the last 19 games and ranks 6th nationally / 2nd SEC in blocked shots, averaging 5.6 per game.
