  • This will be the 79th meeting between Arkansas and LSU, the 69th since the Razorbacks joined the SEC and the second time this season. Arkansas leads the all-time series, 42-36, and is 38-31 versus the Tigers since joining the SEC.
  • Arkansas has won four of the last six overall and leads the series in games played in Fayetteville, 23-8.
  • Earlier this year, hot-shooting LSU got 25 points from Will Baker (17 in the first half) and 20 from Jalen Cook to defeat Arkansas, 95-74, in Baton Rouge. Baker was 9-of-11 from the field, including 4-of-5 from 3-point range, while Cook was 5-of-6 from the floor and 7-of-7 at the line. LSU’s leading scorer, Jordan Wright, was held to just one basket, a 3-pointer late in the game, but he scored 13 points by going 10-of-10 at the line. Overall, LSU was 12-of-23 from 3-point range and was 25-of-28 at the free throw line. By contrast, Arkansas was just 3-of-13 from deep and 23-of-33 at the line. Tramon Mark paced Arkansas with 20 points and had a team-best six rebounds. Jalen Graham added a season-high 18 points. Makhi Mitchell had 10 points and a team-best four assists.
  • Khalif Battle had a great week and was honored by the SEC then had an even better week, but did not get the SEC weekly honor. First, he helped the Razorbacks go 2-0 thanks to his 42-point performance versus Missouri and scoring 15 at Texas A&M. For the week, he averaged 28.5 points, 5.0 rebounds and was 23-of-24 from the free throw line. Then this past week, Battle averaged 35.0 points and 7.0 rebounds while going 31-of-35 from the free throw line.
  • Khalif Battle is coming off a record-setting, three-game scoring spree. He became just the second Razorback (with Mason Jones in 2020) to score at least 30 points in three straight games, getting 42 vs Missouri, 36 versus Vanderbilt and 34 at Kentucky. His 112 points over three games is a Razorback record. His scoring was bolstered by him going 45-of-49 (91.8%) from the free throw line over the three games.
