FAYETTEVILLE – The #20 Arkansas Razorbacks will play the first of two consecutive home games, hosting the Missouri Tigers on Saturday (Feb. 21)> Tipoff is set for 3 pm (CT) and the game will be televised on ESPN.

Arkansas is coming off a tough 117-115 double overtime loss at Alabama on Wednesday, while Mizzou held on to beat #19 Vanderbilt, 81-80, on Wednesday.

Both teams shoot the ball well. Arkansas leads the SEC and ranks 15th in the NCAA in field goal percentage at 50.4% and the Tigers rank 27th in the NCAA at 49.0%. Those numbers will be challenged on the defensive end. Missouri ranks ninth in the NCAA in blocked shots (5.6 avg.) and the Razorbacks rank 14th nationally (5.3 avg.).

After Missouri, Arkansas hosts Texas A&M on Wednesday (Feb. 25) at 8 pm.

NOTES:

  • In a scheduling quirk, the Arkansas-Missouri game on Saturday will be the teams’ 27th game of the season and will be played on Feb. 21 in Bud Walton Arena. Last year, Arkansas and Missouri met on Feb. 22 in Bud Walton Arena and it was also the teams’ 27th game of the year.
  • This will be the 65th meeting between Arkansas and Missouri all time and the first of two this season. The teams will play again in the regular-season finale (Mar. 7) ­— 14 day span.
  • Arkansas leads the all-time series, 36-28, and has won 9 of the last 12.
  • Since Missouri joined the SEC in 2012-13 the border rivals have played 27 times with Arkansas owning a 17-10 advantage.
  • Arkansas leads 21-10 in games playing in Fayetteville, including an 11-2 mark since the Tigers joined the SEC.
  • Karter Knox underwent a successful procedure (Feb. 19) to repair his left meniscus, performed by Dr. Walt Lowe in Houston. No timetable has been set for his return.
  • Arkansas not only leads the SEC in field goal percentage (50.4%), but it also leads the league in 3-point percentage (37.7%), assist-to-turnover ratio (1.89) and fewest turnovers (9.1).
  • In SEC games only, Arkansas leads the league in field goal percentage (51.6%), blocked shots (6.08) and assist-to-turnover ratio (1.88). Individually in SEC games, Darius Acuff Jr. leads the league in scoring 25.77), assists (6.31) and 3-point percentage (44.3%).
