FAYETTEVILLE – Arkansas will close the 2024 calendar year by playing its final non-conference game of the 2024-25 season by hosting Oakland on Monday (Dec. 30). Tipoff is set for 7 pm and the game will be televised on ESPN2.

NOTES:
- Arkansas and Oakland have met on two previous occasions and the Razorbacks won both with both coming in Bud Walton Arena.
- The first meeting came on Dec. 14, 2006 and the Razorbacks won, 71-57. Patrick Beverley led the Hogs with 19 points and he was one of four Hogs with three steals in the game. Overall, Arkansas had 18 steals and forced 27 turnovers. The Razorbacks shot 55.6% from the field as the team had 20 assists on its 30 made baskets, thanks to eight helpers from Gary Ervin.
- The second meeting was the Hogs’ second game of the 2011-12 season (Nov. 16). Arkansas won, 91-68, and, once again, shot the ball well by making 53.6% of its field goals. Also, once again, Arkansas had a high assist total with 21, thanks to seven from Julysses Nobles. Marshawn Powell six Hogs in double figures with 20 points and seven rebounds.
- Boogie Fland leads all NCAA freshmen in assists at 6.17 per game. He ranks 17th in the NCAA overall and second in the SEC in assists. The next closest NCAA frosh is Illinois Kasparas Jakucionis. He ranks 39th overall at 5.45 assists per game.
