
Men's Basketball Travels To Nashville For SEC Media Day
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – The Arkansas men’s basketball program is set to take part in SEC Media Day on Wednesday, Oct. 18, as head coach Mike Anderson and seniors Jaylen Barford and Daryl Macon travel to the Omni Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.
The Razorbacks will make their appearance at the Omni Hotel from 9 a.m. – 11 a.m. CT, making the rounds with Ole Miss, Missouri and Vanderbilt.
How To Watch
The SEC Network will have comprehensive coverage of the event, as SEC Now will broadcast live from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. CT. Dari Nowkhah will anchor the coverage and will be joined by Antoine Walker and Sean Farnham to provide analysis, previews and coach and player interviews throughout the day.
Starting at 2 p.m. CT, The Paul Finebaum Show will take over live from the Omni Hotel as the SEC Network will broadcast eight consecutive hours from SEC Media Day. Fans can stream Wednesday’s coverage, as well as all SEC Network programming, live on the ESPN App.
Team Notes
• Arkansas returns three of its top five leading scorers from a team that recorded 26 wins last season and advanced to the SEC Tournament championship game and the second round of the NCAA Tournament.
• The Razorbacks are the only team in the SEC and one of three high-major programs in the country with six seniors on the roster for the 2017-18 campaign. Those six players have combined to play in 549 collegiate games, an average 91.5 games per player.
• Anderson enters his 16th year as a head coach in 2017-18, including his seventh season at the helm of the Razorbacks where he has a record of 128-74 (.633). He is one of just four current Division I head coaches with 15-plus years of experience and no losing seasons.
