Morris Named to SEC Community Service Team
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Arkansas pitcher Zack Morris has been named to the SEC Community Service Team for his accomplishments beyond the field of competition.
The conference names a Community Service Team for each of its 21 league-sponsored sports, highlighting student-athletes from each school who gives back to his community through superior service efforts.
A team captain and two-time Spring SEC Academic Honor Roll member (2021 & 2022), Morris has been heavily involved in community service and outreach efforts in Fayetteville and across Northwest Arkansas during his time as a Razorback.
Through ONEArkansas NIL, Zack partnered with Fayetteville Youth Baseball, which serves over 1,000 area youths, to help celebrate the unveiling of new baseball fields at Kessler Mountain Regional Park in Fayetteville. The Cabot, Ark., native also teamed up with Pagnozzi Parker Charities, which provides athletic experiences to children of low-income families, and volunteered at the group’s annual golf tournament and sports auction.
Additionally, Zack, along with his fellow ONEArkansas Ambassadors, worked with Hogs for the Cause to help fundraise for families with children affected by pediatric brain cancer.
