Player of the Week
OF Ty Wilmsmeyer
Stats (4 GP/4 GS): .333/.412/.533 (5-for-13), 3 R, 1 HR, 5 RBI, 8 TB, 2 BB
Making his debut as a Razorback, outfielder Ty Wilmsmeyer put together a sensational all-round Opening Weekend as he finished with a team-leading five RBI and reached base in all four games. In game two, Wilmsmeyer swatted a solo home run, drove in a career-high five RBI and made a spectacular home run robbery at the outfield wall to power Arkansas to a 15-5 run-rule victory over James Madison. His homer-robbing catching earned him the No. 2 play on SportsCenter’s Top 10.
Pitcher of the Week
RHP Will McEntire

Veteran pitcher Will McEntire was dominant in his two Opening Weekend appearances. McEntire, who entered in relief of starter Hagen Smith on Opening Day, spun 5.2 innings of one-run ball with six strikeouts and earned the win in Arkansas’ 6-4 victory. The right-hander made his second relief appearance of the weekend in the series finale, emerging from the pen to fire two scoreless innings with three strikeouts and help Arkansas clinch its 28th consecutive non-conference weekend series win.

The left-hander capped off the Razorbacks’ Opening Weekend with five shutout innings and four strikeouts to lead Arkansas to a 4-0 series-clinching combined shutout win against James Madison in Monday’s finale at Baum-Walker Stadium. Fisher dazzled in his first collegiate start on the mound, allowing just three hits over five scoreless innings.
