Jace Bohrofen helped power Arkansas to an SEC series sweep against Texas A&M, the Razorbacks’ first sweep of the Aggies since 2018. During the Texas A&M series, Bohrofen slashed .667/.714/1.083 (8-for-12) with three extra-base hits, including two doubles and a home run, and five runs batted in. The Razorback outfielder had multiple base knocks in all three games of the series, including a pair of three-hit performances, and drove in runs in all three games of the series, including a pair of two-RBI efforts.

Hagen Smith earned the win in Thursday’s series opener against Texas A&M, locking down the final four innings in relief to preserve Arkansas’ 7-5 victory. The Razorback left-hander did not allow a run while striking out four in his lone appearance of the week. For the season, Smith boasts a 6-1 record with a team-leading 2.64 ERA and 71 strikeouts in 42 2/3 innings of work.
Razorback Notes
- Arkansas has started 14-7 or better in SEC play for four straight seasons. It’s the best stretch of starting 14-7 or better in SEC play since LSU did it from 1989-92.
- In the month of April, Razorback infielder Caleb Cali slashed a team-leading .400/.500/.683 with five home runs and 16 RBI.
