Arkansas’ Camden Kozeal powered the Razorbacks to a weekend series sweep against Xavier (Feb. 20-22) at Baum-Walker Stadium, slashing .538/.571/1.231 with a team-leading seven hits, including a double, a triple and two home runs, and a team-high seven RBI against the Musketeers. The Razorback infielder hit for the cycle in Arkansas’ game two victory over Xavier (Feb. 21) to become only the third player in the Dave Van Horn era (2003-pres.) to accomplish the feat. Kozeal began the day with a home run in the bottom of the first inning and hit a triple to left center in the second inning. After flying out to center in the fifth inning, he singled to right field in the seventh and completed the cycle by doubling to left center in the ninth inning.

Fisher recorded the first eight-inning complete-game shutout as well as the first eight-inning one-hitter in program history after Arkansas walked off Xavier in the bottom of the eighth inning to earn an 11-0 run-rule win.
Razorback Notes
  • OF Kuhio Aloy had two game-winning hits in the series sweep against Xavier (Feb. 20-22). Aloy hit a walk-off single that brought Camden Kozeal home for the win in game two before blasting a walk-off three run home run in the eighth inning against the Musketeers to invoke the run rule in game three.
  • INF Camden Kozeal’s cycle in the second game of the series against Xavier was the third in the Dave Van Horn era and the fourth in Arkansas program history. Kozeal is the first Razorback to accomplish the feat since C Dylan Leach did so against UCA in 2022.
  • LHP Colin Fisher threw the first eight-inning complete-game one-hit shutout in Razorback history in Arkansas’ game three win over Xavier (Feb. 22)
