Maika Niu led the Razorbacks to a dominant victory against Oral Roberts (March 3) and two wins against Stetson (March 6-9) at Baum-Walker Stadium, slashing .526/.550/.684 with a team-leading 10 hits and six runs over five games played on the week. The Arkansas outfielder succeeded in their game 1 win against Stetson (March 6). Niu doubled to right field and scored in the first inning. He also walked and scored a run in the fifth inning.

Hunter Dietz showed out in a six inning four-hit performance where he gave up only one run and threw a career-high 12 strikeouts in Arkansas’ game 2 win over Stetson (March 7). The Razorbacks’ left hander threw 91 pitches and allowed just four hits and four Hatters to reach base. Dietz’s performance helped the Razorbacks to their 12th win of the season.

Carter Rutenbar helped the Razorbacks earn a win against Oral Roberts (March 3) and wins against Stetson (March 6-9), slashing .556/.667/.667 with five hits, two runs, one double, and three walks. Rutenbar stood out in Arkansas’ game 2 victory over the Hatters (March 7), scoring a run in the fourth inning and doubling to right field in the fifth inning, and in game 4 (March 9), where he singled four times.
Razorback Notes
- INF TJ Pompey hit his first home run of the 2026 season in their midweek game against Oral Roberts (March 3). Pompey’s home run went to center field in the fourth inning against the Golden Eagles in a 10-2 victory. The infielder’s 437-foot blast was the longest home run hit at Baum-Walker Stadium so far this season.
- LHP Hunter Dietz recorded a career-high 12 strikeouts in Arkansas’ 13-1 game 2 win over Stetson (March 7).
- The Razorbacks’ seven-inning win over the Hatters (March 7) was the fourth time this season that they won in run-rule fashion in fewer than nine innings.
- Arkansas begins their 35th season of SEC play against Mississippi State with game 1 at 6 p.m. Friday, March 13 at Baum-Walker Stadium.
