Dylan Leach became the second Razorback since 1994 to hit for the cycle after he did so in Arkansas’ wild 21-9 midweek win over UCA. The Razorbacks’ backup catcher collected a career-high five hits with a career-high five runs batted, swatting home runs from both sides of the plate en route to the cycle. Robert Moore’s cycle against UCA during the 2021 campaign was the first since Kyle Harris’ cycle against Tennessee in 1994.

RHP Connor Noland

Connor Noland spun a gem in the Hogs’ 8-1 win in game one at Florida, striking out seven Gators over seven shutout innings. The Greenwood, Ark., native gave up just one hit and a walk, facing only one over the minimum in the outing, which was his second consecutive season-long start of seven innings. Noland improved to 5-1 on the year in the win while also carding his team-leading fifth quality of the season.
Razorback Notes
- Arkansas lost an SEC series for the first time since 2019, snapping its streak of 13 consecutive SEC series wins.
- The series loss at Florida also snapped Arkansas’ streak of six consecutive away SEC series wins.
- Arkansas, however, still owns the SEC’s longest consecutive home series win streak (10).
- With Thursday night’s 8-1 win over the Gators, Arkansas has won the opening game of its last nine SEC road series.
