Razorbacks 14th in Preseason AP Poll

FAYETTEVILLE – After an NCAA Sweet 16 appearance last season, Arkansas is ranked 14th in the 2025-26 preseason AP poll, it was announced today.

The Razorbacks are the third-highest rated SEC team behind #3 Florida and #9 Kentucky. Other SEC teams include Alabama (#15), Tennessee (#18) and Auburn (#20), while Texas, Ole Miss, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Mississippi State and Oklahoma received votes.

Arkansas non-conference opponents to make the top 25 include #2 Houston, #6 Duke, #10 Texas Tech, #11 Louisville and #22 Michigan State.

Arkansas hosts Cincinnati for the first of two exhibitions prior to the regular-season starting. The Bearcats come to Bud Walton Arena on Oct. 24 (Friday) for the CareSource Invitational – Fayetteville, Supporting Mental Health. Tickets are available at Razorback Ticket Center.

  • Three days later (Oct. 27), Arkansas travels to Memphis to face the Tigers at the FedEx Forum in the Hoops for St. Jude Tip Off Classic presented by Bad Boy Mowers, benefiting St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Tickets are available at TicketMaster.

The Razorbacks open the regular season on Nov. 3 (Monday) versus Southern. The game will be televised on SEC Network and tipoff is set for 6 pm.

While season ticket allotments are sold out, Arkansas will sell a limited number of single-game tickets and are available at the Razorback Ticket Center.

Three of the nationally-ranked non-conference opponents will be played on neutral courts and tickets are available at:

  • Vs Duke on Nov. 27 for the CBS Sports Thanksgiving Classic in Chicago’s United Center. The game will be aired on CBS with tip set for 7 pm. Tickets are available at TicketMaster.
  • Vs Texas Tech on Dec. 13 for the Revocruit Rematch at American Airlines Center in Dallas. The game will be broadcast on ESPN2 at 11 am. Tickets are available at TicketMaster.
  • Vs Houston on Dec. 20 in the Never Forget Tribute Classic in Newark’s Prudential Center. The game will be televised on CBS at 4:30 pm. Tickets are available at TicketMaster.
