Razorbacks and Vanderbilt Square Off For Senior Day

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Following last weekend’s Razorback win over University of Arkansas-Little Rock, the Hogs are set to host Vanderbilt on Saturday morning at 10:00am for the Razorback Swim and Dive Senior Day. The Razorbacks and the Commodores have faced off regularly since 2007 with the Razorbacks winning the last 14 matchups.

The Hogs and Commodores are set to square off just four short weeks prior to February’s SEC Championships, “It will be good to compete, race, and see where both teams are one month out of SECs,” said head coach Neil Harper. “We are always excited to see our rivals from Nashville,” Harper commented, “Arkansas and Vanderbilt have immense pride as two women’s-only programs.” Harper acknowledged the shared respect between both programs and that they have the “honor of showcasing programs that have women who excel in the classroom as well as SEC finalists, NCAA All-Americans, Olympians, and Academic All-Americans.”

The action is set to start at 10:00am in the Arkansas Natatorium. Senior Day recognition and festivities will begin thirty minutes prior to the start of the meet at 9:30am. Fans who plan on attending the meet are asked to park in lot 45 or FB lot to avoid being ticketed or towed due to the 12:00pm men’s basketball game at Bud Walton Arena.
