Razorbacks Celebrate Four Seniors; Compete Versus Vanderbilt & North Texas in Final Home Meet of Regular Season
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — The Arkansas swim and dive team is back at home for their regular season finale — and for the first time in 2026, as they host SEC opponent Vanderbilt in swimming and UNT in diving.
The meet will begin at 12 pm on Friday in the HPER Natatorium. Before the meet commences, the Razorbacks will be recognizing and celebrating four seniors — Aris Runnels, Delaney Harrison, Malea Martinez, and Sydney Craft — and their successful contributions to the Razorbacks Swimming and Diving program.
The Hogs have had their way with Vanderbilt, leading the all-time series 16-0. The Razorbacks and Commodores faced off last season, with Arkansas leaving Nashville with a 133-129 victory. Arkansas has fared well against North Texas as well, leading the all-time series 9-0. The Razorbacks and Mean Green last squared off during the 2013-14 season where the Hogs picked up a 207-91 win.
“We have a great rivalry and respect for Vanderbilt,” head coach Neil Harper said. “We are the SEC’s two women’s only programs, so we understand, appreciate, and support each other to continually promote, respect, and validate the great opportunities our women have at our universities. Our meet is usually our last dual meet before SEC’s so we can both focus on the things we need to prepare for our success. It will also be a great time to recognize our four seniors for their commitment and success in leading our program.”
Arkansas diving will continue competition on Saturday at 10 am, as they will perform on the platform.
