Razorbacks Dominate Midseason SMU Invite
The Arkansas swim and dive team capped off their Midseason invite with a win by a final score of 1047.
The Hogs remained confidently in control throughout the four-day invite, winning 10 out of 18 events. Hawaii took second with a score of 690.5, followed by Utah (629.5), SMU (618), Drury (354), UNT (294), and Notre Dame (63).
Saturday saw junior Harriet Rogers and senior Sydney Craft continue to shine, winning the 1,650 freestyle (16:29.03) and 100 freestyle (47.96). The relay team of Harriet Rogers, Tammy Greenwood, Sydney Craft, and Delaney Harrison won the 400 freestyle, setting an SMU pool record in the process with a time of 3:15.25.
“This was a great meet for three and a half days from our entire team,” head coach Neil Harper said. To win the team title we had to be strong, deep and fast in every event. This was a great test on all the hard work and dedication we have achieved this first semester.”
On the platforms, junior Lauren French finished second posting a score of 210.80. Sophomore Kanah Pumphrey placed fifth with a 198.60 showing, with junior Bryze Sanchez placing tenth (181.75), and freshman Maizie Sanchez finishing 13th(167.25).
The Razorbacks round out their 2025 slate with a Midseason win in Dallas and will return to action on Jan. 10, 2026, in Athens, Georgia for a double-dual meet against Georgia and Florida State.
