Razorbacks Double Down on Stellar Swims

FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – In evening finals action, the Razorbacks earned 4 podium finishes in yet another solid showing in the Hawkeye Invite.

The Razorbacks notched a win in the 200 Free Relay, posting a 1:29.87 finish, edging out San Diego State by two-tenths of a second. Following the Hogs’ strong start, Reka Rohacs battled to a 5^th-place finish in the 500 Freestyle with a 4:50.38 swim. Sydney Craft came in just one second behind Rohacs, finishing 8^th. Holly Robinson continued a string of solid performances in the 200 IM with a 3^rd-place finish and a time of 2:00.18. In the 50 Freestyle, Bella Cothern fought to a 2^nd-place finish, posting a speedy 22.46, just .02 off from her blazing morning prelim finish. The Razorbacks rounded out the night with a 5^th-place finish in the 400 Medley Relay.

Lotti Hubert dove to a whopping 327.00 in the 1-meter springboard event, posting her best score of the season. Malea Martinez posted a 6^th-place finish in tonight’s 1-meter finals with a score of 285.85.

Coach Harper commented that “It was a great night and getting wins in the 200 Free Relay and 1m diving made for a great start!
We need to be focused and confident at tomorrow morning’s prelims so we can compete in finals tomorrow evening.”
