The Razorback divers will compete tomorrow morning in the platform event. Start time is set for 11 a.m. with preliminaries and finals beginning at 2 p.m. The top-18 finishers qualify to move on and compete in the finals.
The top-6 finishers from NCAA Zones go on to compete at the NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships from Wednesday, March 15 through Saturday, March 18
Diving coach Abel Sanchez: “1m is a tough event. It’s an event where anyone can be great. In this event, you can’t miss a dive and you need to be steady eddy. Today our razorbacks had a solid day. Grace had a good day and was consistent in her dives. She missed her last dive which slide her down from the standing. Malea missed her 2nd dive but was able to fight back where she ended 21 out of 46 divers. With more time and experience under her belt, she’ll be able to jump 10–12 spots, maybe more.”
