Razorbacks Finish 12th at SEC Championships
ATHENS, Ga. – The Razorbacks wrapped up the SEC Championships on Saturday, placing 12th with 244 points. The capped the meet off with some solid swims in prelims and a 10th-place swim in the 4×100 Free Relay, posting a season-best 3:17.38.
In the 200 Backstroke, Rebecca Simpson and Ashley Morton posted personal-best times, capping off a very productive SEC tournament for the pair. Rebecca Simpson placed 39th with a 1:57.82 finish. Morton finished 45th with a 1:58.40 swim.
Bella Cothern led the Hogs in the 100 Freestyle prelims, placing 27th with an NCAA B-Cut 48.96 finish – her best of the season. Delaney Harrison had a strong swim, too, putting up a 49.81 finish. Bara Matoskova, Allie Thome, Gracie Colvin, Eleonora Camisa, and Alma Dahl all posted a season-best finish in the prelims as well.
Holly Robinson dropped more than a second on her best time in the 200 Breaststroke prelim, clocking a 2:15.47 finish. Lindy Hunter placed 46th with a 2:18.51 swim.
