Razorbacks, Golden Eagles Clash in Midweek Matchup
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Sixth-ranked Arkansas (9-3) continues its season-long 18-game homestand at Baum-Walker Stadium with a midweek matchup against Oral Roberts (5-6). First pitch between the Razorbacks and Golden Eagles is set for 3 p.m. Tuesday, March 3, on SEC Network+ with Brett Dolan (play-by-play) and Troy Eklund (analyst) on the call.
Entering Tuesday, the Hogs are 2-1 in midweek games this season. Arkansas defeated Tarleton State (Feb. 16) at Globe Life Field in the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series and split a double midweek series with Arkansas State (Feb. 24-25).

History Lesson
Arkansas is 73-35 all-time against Oral Roberts, including a 19-6 mark in the Dave Van Horn era. The Razorbacks, who are 42-14 in Fayetteville and 13-3 inside the friendly confines of Baum-Walker Stadium in the series, have won 13 consecutive games against the Golden Eagles and have not lost at home in the series since the 2008 campaign.

Dating back to 2017, Arkansas has been ranked in 128 consecutive USA Today Coaches Polls, marking the longest active streak in college baseball. The Razorbacks have been ranked in the top 10 for 79 of the past 82 polls.
Crème de la Crème
James DeCremer will make his second start on the mound as a Razorback in Tuesday’s midweek matchup against Oral Roberts. The Oregon State transfer made his Arkansas debut in relief vs. Texas Tech (Feb. 15) at Globe Life Field in the Shriners Children’s College Showdown, tossing two scoreless innings with a strikeout, and earned his first start in the double midweek series finale against Arkansas State (Feb. 24), firing 3.2 shutout innings with three strikeouts.
The right-hander from Phoenix, Ariz., made 14 appearances, including three starts, last season as a redshirt freshman at Oregon State. DeCremer’s best outing of the year came against USC on June 2, 2025, in the NCAA Corvallis Regional, when he started on the mound and worked a season-long five shutout innings with up a season high-tying six strikeouts.
Midweek Merchants
The Razorbacks are 2-1 in midweek games this season. Arkansas defeated Tarleton State (Feb. 16) at Globe Life Field in the Amegy Bank College Baseball Series before splitting their double midweek series against Arkansas State (Feb. 24-25).
Arkansas finished 11-1 in midweek games during the 2025 campaign and had won 18 consecutive midweek matchups before its winning streak was snapped in a 14-13 extra-inning loss against Missouri State on March 25, 2025.
In the Dave Van Horn era, Arkansas has gone undefeated in midweeks twice: 2005 and 2024. In 2005, Van Horn’s third season at the helm, the Hogs went a perfect 9-0 in midweek games, including wins against Centenary, Missouri State, Northern Colorado, Oral Roberts and Oklahoma State. The Razorbacks most recently went undefeated in midweeks games in 2024, completing season with midweek wins against Grambling, UCA, Oral Roberts, Little Rock, Arkansas State and UAPB as well as three two-game double midweek series sweeps over San Jose State, Texas Tech and Missouri State.
