Razorbacks Hit the Road For Kansas
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Following dominant back-to-back wins at home, the Razorbacks will take to the road for their last meet prior to next month’s SEC Championships. The Hogs will take on Kansas at the Robinson Natatorium at 3:00pm.
The Razorbacks and Jayhawks have squared off 36 times in their history. Arkansas leads the series 19-17, having won 13 of the last 14 matchups with Kansas. Kansas has been on the schedule every season since 2000 except for the 2005-06, ’06-07, and ’15-16 seasons. “This will test our toughness and prepare us for our end of year goals,” said Coach Harper of a solid 5-2 Kansas team. “I think the goal for each program is to compete and race with the best focus and energy given that we are both in heavy training,” for each team’s respective conference championship. Coach Harper expects, “great senior leadership and contributions from our underclassmen in order for us to win.”
The meet will begin at 3:00pm CST on Friday, January 26. Live results will be available on Meet Mobile, and the meet will be streamed on Kansas’ Swimming and Diving Facebook.
