FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. – Riding an eight-game winning streak, the Arkansas men’s basketball team opens SEC play Thursday night, welcoming No. 25 Florida to town for an 8 p.m. showdown in Bud Walton Arena.

The Belk Bowl Watch Party

Razorback fans are invited to Bud Walton Arena on Thursday for the state’s largest Belk Bowl watch party prior to Arkansas’ men’s basketball SEC opener against the Florida Gators. Arkansas is off to its best 12-game start in the Mike Anderson era with an 11-1 record.

• The Razorbacks enter SEC play with an RPI of 19 and one of 10 league teams with a top 100 RPI. Arkansas leads the conference with four top 100 victories and seven top 150 wins.

• The Razorbacks will open conference play at home for the first time in the last five years and just the second time in the Mike Anderson era.

• During the Mike Anderson era, Arkansas is 6-4 against AP Top 25 teams in Bud Walton Arena.

• The Razorbacks are 47-30 all time against ranked teams in Fayetteville, including a 34-22 mark in Bud Walton Arena.
