
Razorbacks Swim to 12th-Place Finishes in Relays
ATHENS, Ga. – The Razorbacks began SEC Championship swimming with a 12th-place finish in the 200 Medley Relay, clocking in at 1:39.32. They capped off the night with a 12th-place finish in the 800 Freestyle Relay with a 7:11.69.
The 200 Medley Relay team consisted of Gracie Colvin who led it off and swam the backstroke leg in 25.12. Bradi Jones followed Colvin, swimming the Breaststroke leg, posting a split of 28.43. Jones was followed by Bella Cothern who swam the Butterfly leg in a speedy 23.22, and Delaney Harrison swimming the last leg, posting a 22.55 finish.
The 800 Free Relay team consisted of Rebecca Simpson, Sydney Craft, Bara Matoskova, and Holly Robinson. Simpson swam a 1:47.86 leadoff leg followed by a 1:46.99 second leg by Craft. Bara Matoskova posted a 1:48.32 in her leg, and Holly Robinson closed out the race with a 1:48.52 split. Their 7:11.69 finish was a best for this relay squad, topping their seed time of 7:15.08 by nearly 4 seconds.
The Razorbacks will be back in action tomorrow morning for the 500 Freestyle, 200 IM, and 50 Free. The divers will compete on the 3-meter springboard. Prelims begin at 9:30 AM and can be streamed on SECN+. The finals will begin at 2:10 for diving and 5:30 for swimming. The finals can be streamed here.
