Razorbacks Wrap Up Day 1, Lotti Hubert Earns NCAA All-American Honorable Mention
ATLANTA, Ga. — A pair of strong 1-meter diving performances anchored the Thursday slate at the NCAA Swim and Dive Championships in Atlanta.
The sophomore diving duo of Majo Sanchez and Lotti Hubert picked up where they left off at NCAA Zones, with great outings each.
Sanchez landed a 21st place finish with a total score of 260.70. The Mexico City native nearly repeats her 1-meter performance from last season where she placed 20th with a score of 275.20.
Hubert exceled in her NCAA Championships debut, just barely missing the top eight finals cut, and placed 10th with a total score of 276.55. Hubert’s fantastic 1-meter performance earned her an NCAA All-American Honorable Mention.
Hubert and Sanchez return to action tomorrow as they await 3-meter diving competition. Harriet Rogers will begin her NCAA action with the 50 freestyle.
