Rogers Sets Another Program Second-Best; Secures Top Ten Finish For Swim

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. — The Arkansas swim and dive team wrapped up the fourth day of SECs on Friday.

Preliminaries begun with the 200 breaststroke, 50 freestyle, and 500 freestyle. Finals consisted of the previously mentioned events and included finals in the 200 freestyle relay.

The Razorback divers will return to action on Saturday, as they look to make it three-for-three in medals this week.

Consecutive Seconds

  • Harriet Rogers picked up where she left off on Thursday, winning her heat and landing a 9th place finish in the 50 freestyle finals with a time of 21.80.
  • Rogers makes it consecutive days recording Razorback history, as she now holds the second-highest 50 freestyle time. She set a new personal record, surpassing her previous best time of 21.85 which was hit at the team’s midseason invite earlier this season.
  • The program record in the 50 freestyle is held by Anna Hopkin, who timed in at 21.19 during the 2019-20 season.

For Tomorrow

  • The final day of SEC Championships will commence with preliminary action at 8:30 a.m. and is set to feature the 200 individual medley, 100 freestyle, 200 backstroke and platform diving.
  • Finals will consist of the previously mentioned events and also include the 400 freestyle relay to round out competition.
