Made 24 appearances out of the bullpen to compile a 2.31 ERA and a 4-1 record … He gave up just 13 earned runs over 50.2 innings, the most innings among Razorback relievers … Struck out 49 batters, tying for the most among all Arkansas relievers … In conference play, he was even better, throwing 29.0 innings and giving up just three earned runs for a 0.93 ERA, best in the SEC … 34 of his 49 strikeouts came against conference opponents and he held league players to a .188 batting average … Gave up more than two runs in an outing only once (vs. Memphis – April 18) and had 13 total scoreless outings … Notched five or more strikeouts five times with a career-high six strikeouts coming against Vanderbilt (May 14) … Matched the high strikeout total earlier in the year at No. 10 Auburn (April 22) over just three innings … Was effective against Ole Miss (April 28), going a career-long 6.1 innings out of the bullpen, scattering six hits, allowing one run, and striking out five … Gave up just one unearned run and one hit during the SEC Tournament in 3.1 innings, all against Mississippi State … Named to 2017 SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll.
