As a Sophomore (2021-22)
In her sophomore year, Mayson qualified for NCAA Zones with two personal best in the one and three-meter dive at SMU. She put up personal best scores of 291.30 in the one-meter and a score of 321.15 in the three-meter. Mayson also had a personal best at Georgia Tech, scoring 324.20 in the three-meter.
Prior to Arkansas
Mayson was a silver medalist in the 3-meter at the Junior Pan-American. Also, was a 3-meter Junior National Champion plus a Platform Junior National Champion.
Reason for Choosing Arkansas
“My older sister and I are very close. She is only one grade older than me, so when she decided to go to school at the U of A, I helped her move in. I fell in love with Fayetteville on that trip and decided I wanted to be in this beautiful town, close to my sister for my college experience. Arkansas also has a great environmental science program that further influenced my decision.”
