Swimming and Diving recognized as CSCAA Scholar All-American Team

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. – The College Swimming and Diving Coaches Association (CSCAA) announced Wednesday morning that Arkansas was named as a Scholar All-American Team for the 2019 fall semester.

The Razorbacks had 13 student-athletes record a 4.0 GPA in the fall and the squad compiled a total of 111 A’s with 83% of the team also earning above a 3.0. Arkansas has consistently been one of the top programs in the classroom, earning the fall semester honor with a GPA above 3.5 since the year 2012.

“It is such an honor and reflection of our entire team’s hard work and dedication outside of the pool and in the classroom.” Coach Neil Harper said, “Our team has always prided itself on our high academic standards and again, we have one of the highest GPA’S in the SEC and NCAA – Go Hogs!”

The teams represent 480 institutions from across all NCAA, NAIA and NJCAA Divisions. The CSCAA recognizes teams with the Scholar All-America Award for achieving a team GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Founded in 1922, the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) – the oldest organization of college coaches in America – is a professional organization of college swimming and diving coaches dedicated to serving and providing leadership for the advancement of the sport of swimming & diving at the collegiate level.
