10 Things to Know – Alabama

Arkansas, on the road for the fourth consecutive week, will look to snap its four-game losing streak when it goes up against SEC Western Division leader Alabama. Kickoff between the Razorbacks and the No. 11 Crimson Tide is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 14, on ESPN inside Bryant-Denny Stadium.

10 Things to Know – Alabama

1. – The Hogs’ road trip to Tuscaloosa, Ala., is their fourth consecutive SEC game away from the friendly confines of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. This season marks the first time since 1925 that Arkansas is playing each of its first four conference games away from home.

2. – Arkansas, seeking its first win in Tuscaloosa since 2003, has lost 15 consecutive games against Alabama dating back to the 2007 season. The Razorbacks are 8-25 all-time against the Crimson Tide, picking up four of those eight wins on the road in Tuscaloosa (1993, 1995, 1997, 2003).

3. – QB KJ Jefferson has completed 110-of-1164 passes (67.1%) for 1,300 yards and 12 touchdowns while also rushing for 136 yards and a touchdown through six games this season. Jefferson, who has thrown for at least one touchdown in each of his last 17 games under center, ranks first on Arkansas’ career touchdown responsibility list with 80 (60 passing touchdowns, 20 rushing touchdowns).

4. – TE Ty Washington set new career-highs in receptions (7), receiving yards (90), and receiving touchdowns (2). He hauled in five receptions for 56 yards on the Razorbacks’ opening drive of the game. He capped off the drive with a three-yard touchdown catch, the second of his career and his first since against Kansas in the 2022 Liberty Bowl. He is the third Arkansas player with multiple receiving touchdowns in a game this season, along with WR Andrew Armstrong (2 TD vs. Kent State) and TE Luke Hasz (2 TD at LSU).

5. – Through six games, the Razorbacks have recorded a league-leading 11 takeaways, including seven interceptions. Arkansas’ turnover margin (+4) ranks second-best among all SEC teams this season.

6. – The Hogs have returned a nation-leading three interceptions for touchdowns this season, one shy of matching the program’s most interceptions returned for touchdowns since 2016 (4).

7. – Raheim Sanders has six career games with multiple rushing touchdowns. He recorded his fifth career game with two rushing scores in the Hogs’ season-opening win against Western Carolina.

8. – K Cam Little’s career-long 56-yard field goal vs. Ole Miss is the longest by a Razorback kicker since K Kendall Trainor’s 58-yard make vs. Miami in 1988. Little’s 56-yard make is the seventh-longest field goal in program history. For his career, Little is 5-of-6 (83.3%) on field goals over 50 yards. He is a perfect 17-of-17 (100%) from inside 30 yards in his career.

9. – Against Ole Miss, LB Jaheim Thomas posted his fifth career double-digit tackling performance after totaling 11 stops (5 solo), including a tackle for loss. Thomas has registered 10+ tackles in four of six games this season. Thomas also recorded a career high three QB hurries vs. the Rebels.

10. – Under head coach Sam Pittman, Arkansas has gained 400 or more total yards of offense in 27 of 42 games and rushed for 200 or more yards in 20 of 42 games. The Hogs are 14-13 when gaining 400 or more yards of total offense in a game and are 13-7 when rushing for 200 or more yards in a game.
