  2. Short series history. It will be the 11th meeting between Arkansas and Missouri, as the Tigers hold a 7-3 lead in the all-time series. Friday will mark the second game against the Tigers in Little Rock, with the first coming on Sept. 28, 1963 (L, 7-6). Arkansas’ last win over Missouri came in Fayetteville on Nov. 27, 2015, as the Razorbacks posted a 28-3 victory in the contest.
  3. Trophy game. The two teams will play for the Battle Line trophy. The trophy was introduced in 2015 and is shaped in the outline of the states of Arkansas & Missouri, made of silver, stands over four feet tall and weighs over 180 pounds. Arkansas won the trophy in its first year of existence in that 28-3 win in Fayetteville.
  4. Arkansas makes its return to War Memorial Stadium in Little Rock on Saturday to take on SEC foe Missouri. The Razorbacks are 151-61-4 in War Memorial Stadium all-time, first playing at the venue on Sept. 18, 1948. It will be the second consecutive season Arkansas has played a Southeastern Conference opponent at WMS, taking on Ole Miss last season. Saturday’s game will also be for the Battle Line trophy, which was introduced in 2015, the only year Arkansas has claimed the trophy. It is shaped in the outline of both states, stands over four feet tall and weighs 180 pounds.
  5. Wide receiver Treylon Burks has made a name for himself this season, his first on the Hill. The Warren, Arkansas, native leads the team in receiving yards with 469 yards on 28 receptions and ranks second on the team in all-purpose yards with 813. Burks leads SEC freshmen in yards per game (46.9) & receiving yards, and ranks 16th & 17th in the two categories among all conference players. His 469 receiving yards are the most by an Arkansas true freshman since Marcus Monk’s 569 yards in 2004. Burks is one of five true freshmen Razorbacks to eclipse 400+ receiving yards in a season, joining the likes of Anthony Lucas (869), Monk (569), Bobbie Williams (431) and Hunter Henry (409). Burks also has 179 kick return yards, 130 punt return yards and 35 rushing yards this season. His 134 kickoff return yards against Mississippi State were the most since De’Vion Warren’s 141 in 2017 (Ole Miss).
  6. Over the last two seasons, senior linebacker De’Jon Harris has recorded 100+ tackles, ranking him among the top in the conference among active defenders in total tackles. He briefly appeared at the top of the leaderboard this season, but currently sits in third in the conference heading into the final week of the season. He has four double-digit tackle games this year and 19 in his college career. After eight tackles at LSU, he now ranks seventh in career tackles at Arkansas with 360. Harris is now seven stops away from sixth, eight from fifth and 12 from fourth in the all-time tackle records by a Razorback with one game to go.
  7. Last season, Dre Greenlaw, De’Jon Harris and Santos Ramirez combined to be the top tackling trio in the SEC with 285 total tackles. This year, Harris (90) leads the crew of himself, Bumper Pool (81) and Kam Curl (76) to once again lead the conference as a three-man unit with 247 total stops heading into the final week of the season. Individually, Harris ranks third in stops, while Pool and Curl rank seventh & 10th, respectively, in the category. Joe Foucha follows Curl in 11th in the league with 75 tackles this season. Arkansas is the only school in the SEC with multiple players in the top 12 in total tackles this season, let alone four.
  8. Junior quarterback Jack Lindsey has spent the majority of his career as Arkansas’ holder on field goal & PAT plays, but on Saturday in Death Valley, he took his first snaps under center and made them count. Lindsey took his first play at QB 30 yards down the visitor sideline, then threw a strike down the middle of the field to Mike Woods for a 24-yard touchdown. It was Lindsey’s first TD of his career. He would also lead another scoring drive, which resulted in a two-yard score from Devwah Whaley.
  9. True freshman quarterback KJ Jefferson made his first start at LSU on Saturday, going 7-of-14 for 105 yards. He debuted against Mississippi State and sent the crowd into a frenzy after his first offensive drive. Jefferson took the first snap 21 yards to midfield, bowling over a defender in the process. His next play was a handoff to Rakeem Boyd, who took it 17 yards to go past the 100-yard threshold for the day. Then, Jefferson launched a 32-yard strike to fellow freshman Treylon Burks down the home sideline, putting Arkansas inside the five-yard line. From there, Jefferson finished the drive by barreling into the end zone for his first collegiate score, completing a four-play, 75-yard drive in 1:53. He saw more playing time against Western Kentucky, leading the Hogs on another touchdown drive, capped by a two-yard score for the second TD of his career. He finished the game 6-of-15 for 60 yards passing, while rushing for 32 yards on 16 carries.
  10. Junior running back Rakeem Boyd continues to make highlight reel plays week after week, from hurdling oncoming defenders to breaking off huge plays for the Razorback offense. For the fifth time this season and eighth time as a Razorback, Boyd rushed for over 100 yards, finishing with 185 against Western Kentucky on Nov. 9. He scored twice on 76 and 86-yard run plays, giving him eight rushing TDs this season. He ranks third in the conference and 20th nationally in rushing yards with 1,005.
