10 Things to Know vs. Missouri State
1. – A pair of top-10 teams will play at Razorback Stadium on Saturday as Arkansas is ranked No. 10 in the AP Top 25 poll and Missouri State is ranked No. 5 in the Stats Perform FCS Top 25 poll. Arkansas last faced a ranked FCS foe in the 2012 season opener (No. 22 Jacksonville State).
2. – Following Arkansas’ 44-30 win against South Carolina, the Hogs have charted three straight games of 200+ rushing yards (295 vs. South Carolina) as a team and five consecutive games of 400+ yards of total offense (457 vs. South Carolina).
3. – Arkansas has won back-to-back SEC openers for the first time since 2003-04 after downing South Carolina last weekend.
4. – Under head coach Sam Pittman, the Razorbacks are 6-0 against non-conference opponents. With a win over Missouri State, Pittman would become the first Arkansas head coach since Lou Holtz (1977-78) to win his first seven games against non-conference foes.
5. – QB KJ Jefferson continues to display why he is one of the most dynamic quarterbacks in college football. Through two games, Jefferson has completed 36-of-47 passes (76.6%) for 385 yards and four touchdowns while rushing for 129 yards and two scores. He ranks third in the SEC and ninth nationally in completion percentage and boasts the league’s third-best passing efficiency (173.5).

7. – QB KJ Jefferson is slated to make his 18th career start under center against Missouri State. The Razorbacks have scored 30 or more points in 11 of his 17 starts to date.
8. – In the win over South Carolina, linebacker Drew Sanders became one of two SEC defenders since 2000 to have recorded double-digit tackles with 2+ sacks, 2+ forced fumbles and at least one pass breakup in a game: Sanders (Arkansas) vs. South Carolina in 2022 & Greg Hardy (Ole Miss) vs. Alabama in 2007.
