10 Things to Know – Ole Miss
Arkansas, on the road for the third consecutive week, will look to snap its three-game losing streak when it squares off against longtime rival and SEC West foe No. 16 Ole Miss. Kickoff between the Razorbacks and the nationally ranked Rebels is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 7, on SEC Network.
10 Things to Know – Ole Miss
1. – The Hogs’ road trip to Oxford, Miss., is their third of four consecutive SEC games away from the friendly confines of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. This season marks the first time since 1925 that Arkansas is playing each of its first four conference games away from home.
2. – Arkansas, seeking its first win in Oxford since 2017, boasts a 38-28-1 all-time record against Ole Miss. Under head coach Sam Pittman, the Razorbacks have won two of their three meetings against the Rebels since the 2020 season, including both matchups in Fayetteville (2022 & 2022).
3. – The Hogs have returned an SEC-leading three interceptions for touchdowns this season, one shy of matching the program’s most interceptions returned for touchdowns since 2016 (4).
4. – Through five games, the Razorbacks have recorded a league-high 11 takeaways, including seven interceptions. Arkansas’ turnover margin (+6) ranks first in the SEC and No. 10 among all FBS teams.

6. – The next school records in Jefferson’s sights are career touchdown passes and career passing yards. Jefferson’s 58 touchdown passes rank third behind QB Brandon Allen’s record of 64, and his 6,854 passing yards are 911 yards shy of QB Tyler Wilson’s program record of 7,765. Jefferson is one of only five quarterbacks in Arkansas history to throw for 6,000-plus yards.
7. – Saturday’s game at Ole Miss marks Pittman’s 42nd game as the head coach at Arkansas. Of those 42 games, 36 have come against an opponent from the SEC, a Power 5 foe and/ or an opponent ranked in the AP Top 25 poll.
8. – Since the start of the 2020 season (Sam Pittman’s first as head coach), the Razorbacks have totaled 42 interceptions in 41 games. Arkansas tallied 13 interceptions in 10 games in 2020, 13 interceptions in 13 games in 2021 and nine interceptions in 13 games in 2022.

9. – Lorando “Snaxx” Johnson recorded his first career interception against Texas A&M (Sept. 30) and returned it for a touchdown, the Razorbacks’ third interception returned for a touchdown in 2023.
10. – K Cam Little’s career-long 52-yard field goal against Texas A&M (Sept. 30) was the longest in Southwest Classic history. Little’s three made field goals (52 yards, 25 yards, 50 yards) against Texas A&M also tied for most in a Southwest Classic game. He is the first Razorback to make two field goals of 50+ yards in a game since K Steve Little did vs. Oklahoma State in 1976 (53 & 57).
