10 Things to Know – Texas A&M
Arkansas hits the road for the second week in a row to clash with longtime rival Texas A&M in this year’s edition of the Southwest Classic. Kickoff between the Hogs and Aggies from inside AT&T Stadium, home of the Dallas Cowboys, is scheduled for 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 30, on SEC Network.
10 Things to Know – Texas A&M
1. – The Razorbacks’ trip to Arlington, Texas, is their second of four consecutive SEC games away from the friendly confines of Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium. This season marks the first time since 1925 that Arkansas plays each of its first four conference games away from home.
2. – Arkansas boasts a 42-34-3 record against Texas A&M. The Razorbacks, however, have dropped 10 of their last 11 meetings with the Aggies, most recently securing a win in 2021 to snap a nine-game losing streak in the series.
3. – QB KJ Jefferson is first on the Hogs’ career touchdown responsibility list with 77 (57 passing, 20 rushing). He matched QB Matt Jones’ program record of 77 (53 passing, 24 rushing) in 10 fewer games.
4. – Since the start of the 2020 campaign, Sam Pittman’s first season as head coach, the Arkansas defense has totaled 41 interceptions in 40 games — third-most among SEC teams during that span.

5. – Rashod Dubinion led the Razorbacks with his career-high 15 carries for 78 yards at LSU. He also chipped in three catches for 35 yards, finishing the game with 113 total scrimmage yards on 18 touches.
6. – TE Luke Hasz is the first Arkansas freshman to record multiple touchdown receptions in a game since TE Hunter Henry at LSU in 2013, and the first freshman to log 100+ receiving yards and 2+ touchdowns in a game since RB Jonathan Williams vs. Kentucky in 2012. Hasz was named the John Mackey Tight End of the Week following his stellar performance vs. the Tigers.
