2020 HOGSPYs: Standing Ovation

The standing ovation award recognizes a walk-on student-athlete, who contributed to the athletic success of his/her team, exemplified academic excellence, and displayed character in and out of competition.

The nominees are:

Ty Clary (FB)

  • Started all 12 games at center for the Razorbacks in 2019, appearing in 767 total plays, the most of any Arkansas player.
  • Played every offensive snaps in five of the first six games, as well as the season finale against Missouri.
  • Did not allow a sack in 443 pass protection plays, with only two quarterback hits in 2019.
  • Blocked for an offense that scored 28 times and racked up 4,081 total yards, including 2,315 passing yards, 1,766 rushing yards and 14 touchdowns both through the air and on the ground.

Matt Goodheart (BSB)

  • Started all 16 games at designated hitter in 2020, hitting third or fourth in every game.
  • Put together a .302/.492/.400 line at the plate with 19 hits, 18 RBIs and 14 runs.
  • Recorded six multi-hit games and five multi-RBI performances, with three home runs in 2020.

Myles Richter (MXC)

  • First Razorback finisher in NCAA Cross Country Championships, 13th among freshman in field.
  • All-SEC Freshman team, placed 18th overall, 3rd among freshmen.
  • All-South Central Region, placed 15th overall, 4th among freshmen.
  • Earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honor.
