
Arkansas fourth in SEC Outdoor, silver medals for Jallow-Lockhart, Noe
LEXINGTON – Arkansas totaled 72 points and finished fourth at the 2025 SEC Outdoor Championships.
Silver medal performances from Sanu Jallow-Lockhart in the 800m and Paityn Noe in the 5,000m highlighted the final day of action for the Razorbacks.
No. 1 Georgia won the team title with 103 points, followed by No. 4 Texas A&M (81.5), and No. 11 Florida (79). Finishing behind No. 3 Arkansas were No. 6 South Carolina (69), No. 12 Oklahoma (56.5), No. 19 LSU (55), Kentucky (52.5), No. 23 Alabama (52), and No. 13 Texas (52).
Jallow-Lockhart posted a time of 2:01.65, after splitting 57.57 at 400m, to finish behind LSU’s Michaela Rose, who won the 800m race in 1:59.75.
Noe delivered a 15:28.85 as runner-up in the 5,000m while Sydney Thorvaldson placed fourth in 15:41.59 as they combined for 13 points.
Kaylyn Brown and Sanaria Butler added eight points in the 400m. Brown ran 51.32 for a bronze medal while Butler finished seventh in 52.58. Saira Prince earned a bronze medal in the 400m hurdles in 56.04.
Arkansas finished fifth in both relays. They ran 43.40 in the 4 x 100m relay with a line-up of Shawnti Jackson, Effiong, Brown, and Reid. In the 4 x 400m relay, the Razorbacks clocked 3:31.06 with a crew of Reid, Jallow-Lockhart, Kayla Davis, and Brown.
Olivia Pielemeier supplied three points from a sixth-place effort in the 1,500m where she posted a time of 4:22.62. Later, she finished 11th in the 5,000m (16:14.28).
Rachel Homoly and Hannah Estes tied for ninth place in the pole vault as each cleared 12-11.75 (3.96).
