Arkansas Lands Transfer Taleyah Jones
FAYETTEVILLE – Taleyah Jones, a two-time All-Summit League selection who played the last two seasons at Oral Roberts, has signed with Arkansas, head coach Kelsi Musick announced on Friday.
Jones, who averaged 18.1 points per game last season at Oral Roberts, powered Musick’s squad that led the Summit and finished No. 8 nationally in scoring offense (82.9 ppg).
The Broken Arrow, Oklahoma native started her collegiate career at UT-Arlington for the 2022-23 season before joining Musick and the Golden Eagles.

Started all 32 games as a sophomore…Led the Golden Eagles in scoring averaging 17.5 ppg while adding 3.2 rpg and 1.6 apg…Named Summit League Newcomer of the Year and earned a spot on the All-Summit League Second Team…Scored a career-high 37 points on 1/11/24 in a win at South Dakota…Recorded a career-high six steals on 1/6/24 at Sacramento State…Ranked fourth in the League in FT% shooting 83.7% from the line…Led the team in scoring 11 times this season and crossing the 20-point mark 12 times…Scored a team-high 559 total points this year.

Averaged 8.9 points per game as a freshman and a two time WAC Freshman of the Week…Scored a career-high 30 points against Texarkana…Scored 1,000 career points in high school and averaged 19.4 points per game her senior year.
