— FINAL — BAMA 69, HOGS 58

4:03 p.m. — Senior Day comes to a close here in Fayetteville with the Hogs dropping it to Alabama 69-58.

3:57 p.m. — Hogs have to resort to fouling as the clock winds within 1 minute to go and Alabama just keeps taking advantage, however Rees gets a 3 to go for the Razorbacks making it 68-58 with 27.3 still to play.

3:55 p.m. — Both teams trade off a set of fouls and free throws and Bama calls another timeout as they lead 65-55 with 1:22 left.

3:53 p.m. — Bud Walton springs to life as Harris sinks a 3 to make it 63-54 Alabama with 1:40 remaining.

3:49 p.m. — Townsend and Harris manage to cut Bama’s lead down to 12 in back-2-back trips to the line as the Tide take a timeout with 2:07 to go.

3:43 p.m. — Hogs stop the bleeding momentarily as Ford and Ricketts manage to put together 4 in a row for the Razorbacks, Bama ahead 63-48 with 3:49 remaining.

3:41 p.m. — Alabama really starting to pour it on as they keep pushing it and have extended their lead to 19 with 4:49 to go as Ford works her way to the line.

3:39 p.m. — Harris tags King on her way up and she makes the Razorbacks pay for it at the line.

3:37 p.m. — Hogs and Tide swap off a couple quick fouls and free throws, Bama currently out in front 57-44.

3:36 p.m. — Robinson lays it up and in, however Magee hits back on the other end and the Hogs are still down 10.

3:31 p.m. — Alabama gets it to McCoy who converts on the old-fashioned 3-point play, Tide up 10 now, 50-40.

3:26 p.m. — Bama has torn onto a 12-3 run here in Fayetteville leaving the Hogs reeling as Coach Collen is forced to call timeout down 47-40 with 9:12 to play.

3:21 p.m. — McCoy and Magee help the Tide put together a quick 4-0 run and regain the lead 39-37 heading into the 2nd media timeout of the half with 11:05 remaining.

3:19 p.m. — Harris starts cranking it up here in the 2nd as she sinks a 3 to put the Hogs back on top by 2, 37-35.

3:17 p.m. — King nails the fade-away 3 for the Tide, but the Hogs manage to answer with another Harris lay-up, Bama leads by 1.

3:14 p.m. — Harris ties it back up for the Hogs and it’s 32 all heading into the 1st media timeout of the 2nd with 15:26 to go.

3:12 p.m. — Hogs cut it back to 2 as Ford sinks the jumper.

3:10 p.m. — Watkins earns a trip to the line and hits ’em both to cut Bama’s edge back to 2, however McCoy follows suit on the other end and the Tide still up by 4, 32-28.

3:09 p.m. — Jenkins drops off a short jumper to extend Bama’s lead to 4, 30-26.

3:07 p.m. — Bama opens up the 2nd with 2 quick baskets and takes the lead for the first time today, Tide up 28-26.

3:05 p.m. — Both teams hit the floor for some 2nd half warm-ups here in Fayetteville, action just moments away.

— HALF — HOGS 26, BAMA 24

2:50 p.m. — Buzzer sounds sending us to the half here at Bud Walton with the Razorbacks leading the Tide 26-24.

2:47 p.m. — Razorbacks push their lead back up to 4 as Williams takes full advantage of the 1-and-1, but Bama cuts it right back to 2 off of a Butler lay-up on the other end to make it 26-24.

2:45 p.m. — Russell manages to hit 2 of her 3 freebies after getting fouled on her 3-point attempt and closes the Arkansas lead to 2, 24-22.

2:41 p.m. — McCoy gets a shot to get a 3-point play for Bama but can’t convert as she bricks the and-1 opportunity, Arkansas responds with a Robinson lay-up though and the Hogs are still on top 24-20.

2:40 p.m. — Hogs and Tide trade off a couple quick buckets, Arkansas ahead 22-18.

2:38 p.m. — Jenkins gets tagged by Watkins on her way up and sinks both of ’em from the charity stripe, Razorbacks answer by getting it to Ricketts however and UA leads it 20-16.

2:36 p.m. — Williams drills the jumper and knocks the Hogs’ lead back up to 4 at 18-14.

2:32 p.m. — Magee sinks the mid-range jumper and following another travel call on the Hogs she gets another one to fall and sudden;y it’s a one possession game here in Fayetteville, UA holding on at 16-14.

2:30 p.m. — The Aussie drops off the 3 for the Hogs, but Bama manages to answer with a quick 5-0 run of their own, Arkansas ahead 16-10.

2:28 p.m. — Russell hits a 3 from out off the right wing and breathes some life into the Tide, Razorbacks up 8, 13-5.

2:24 p.m. — Watkins and Harris start to get some stuff going down in the paint and the Hogs have extended their lead to 11 with Harris heading to the line coming out of the media timeout, UA out in front 13-2 with 11:39 left in the 1st.

2:22 p.m. — Bama takes a timeout to talk it over as they have only managed to put 2 points on the board here in Fayetteville in the opening 6:56, Arkansas still on top 9-2.

2:20 p.m. — Ford gets it to fall, UA up 9-2.

2:18 p.m. — Williams breaks the offensive drought by getting the old-fashioned 3-point play to go and now the Hogs have their biggest lead of the afternoon at 5, 7-2.

2:15 p.m. — Some sloppy basketball by both teams has kept the game at 4-2 heading into the 1st media timeout of the afternoon with 15:50 to go here in the 1st.

2:09 p.m. — McCray gets it under the basket and gets the lay up to fall, Farmer answers for Alabama answers on the other end though and UA leads it 4-2.

2:08 p.m. — Harris grabs the steal and the Razorbacks get it to Ford who lays it in, Hogs open up the scoring at 2-0.

2:07 p.m. — Razorbacks control the tip, however can’t get a handle on the passing and turn it over out of bounds.

2:04 p.m. — They hit the lights here in Bud Walton Arena and the Hogs starters for this afternoon will be: Ricketts, Ford, Daniels, Harris, & McCray.

1:55 p.m. — Senior Day activities get under way as the Razorbacks begin to recognize all the senior members of the team and staff out at mid-court.

1:51 p.m. — Hogs continue shooting around while Bud Walton continues to get pinker, tip’s now only 9 minutes out.

1:46 p.m. — Great crowd with their special Pink Zone T-shirts are starting to fill the stands.

1:40 p.m. — Both teams are on the floor for warm-ups, we’re not that far away from the pregame Senior Day recognition.

1:24 p.m. — Looks like Alabama is in the spirit as well, wearing their pink shoelaces and pink socks. Last weekend, when Arkansas was at South Carolina for the Gamecocks’ pink game they did similar things.

1:15 p.m. — All pink uniforms today for the Razorbacks, they are starting to come out for warm-ups.

1:00 p.m. — For those following baseball, the Razorbacks will play today against Ball State with a first pitch set for 1:20 p.m. now due to the rain.

12:53 p.m. — Today is also the first public appearance for Tusk III. He is the dearly departed Tusk II’s brother, Harry. Of course, in the line of succession, he will take Tusk III as his public name.

12:45 p.m. — Welcome to Bud Walton Arena for today’s final regular season home game for the women’s basketball team. Today is also the Pink Zone game, raising awareness of breast cancer and funds for the local affiliate of the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
